I recently had my first sugary drink from Starbucks in several years. I don't typically drink all the fancy stuff from big name coffee shops because I know too well the ingredients they use and I just don't care to have that stuff floating around in my body all day. However, I don't know what came over me, it could have been the Christmas Spirit or a little carelessness... but I just went for it.
I indulged in a yummy Snickerdoodle Hot Cocoa. I'm not a chocolate fan normally, so the white chocolate and cinnamon mixture was calling my name. And, I surprisingly drank every last sip. It was so good, but so so sugary! I definitely had a sugar hangover the next morning.
So, I figured I'd come up with my own recipe at home, using ingredients I feel good about. Here's the recipe below, I hope you enjoy it!
