Paleo Sweet Potato Chili
Finding a great chili recipe that becomes your "go to" recipe anytime you get that hankering for something hearty, filling, and comforting on a cold February day can be like finding a diamond in the rough. If you google "chili recipe" you'll be searching from thousands of recipes, full of yummy ingredients. I came up with one that has been tested by time and never fails, tried and true.
This particular recipe does not include beans, as most chili recipes do. My family follows a grain free diet, and that includes omitting legumes. We just feel better without them. But I promise you won't miss the beans because this recipe more than makes up for it!
This really has become my "go-to" chili recipe! We love to serve this when we're entertaining, scooped over hot baked potatoes with raw homemade sour cream, raw cheddar, chives, and radishes for crunch and a side salad. It feeds a lot of people and is super filling! For a less spicy version (for the kiddos!) bring the chili powder down to 1 tbsp and add 2 tbsp smoked paprika, which gives it even more of a nice smokey flavor coupled with the bacon.
What's your favorite crowd pleaser recipe that stops the show when you have guests over? We love to entertain and I'm always looking for new recipes to try!
